Meet your guide
Captain Tucker Deaton grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and caught the fishing bug at a very early age. After testing the waters of fly fishing on bass and bream, he quickly found that this was his greatest passion. Since then, Tucker has broadened his horizons and chased fish with a fly rod in hand, in as many locations as possible. These destinations range from tropical environments chasing permit, tarpon, bonefish, roosterfish, and sailfish to freshwater destinations in pursuit of trout, steelhead, and stripers. From each of these experiences, Tucker has gained valuable fly fishing knowledge and his love for the sport has only grown stronger. As a guide, he has learned the importance of hard work, professionalism, good communication skills, patience, and being a perpetual learner. Tucker loves to work with people of all skill levels and with experience as a guide in multiple destinations, he understands how to work as a team to accomplish a collective goal. He’s excited to get out on the water with you.
